About ICAT:
ICAT has a stand alone residential earthquake policy for homes with coverage A values of less than $2.5 million. There are many coverage options and enough deductibles to satisfy most of our clients. ICAT was founded in 1998 to provide insurance for catastrophes. With ICAT, Marindependent now has two stand alone earthquake providers to choose from. The peril of earthquake is excluded from homeowners insurance in California, therefore if you want coverage for it, you must either get it from the company that provides your homeowners insurance or buy it from company such as ICAT that offers a stand alone policy.
